With over 15 years in the Property Casualty Insurance and Risk Management Industry, Anthony Miller has lead and brought an abundance of experience and resources to every agency he has had the privilege of being a part of. Anthony is currently the Founder and President at GSI, Golden State Insurance Solutions where he is responsible for leadership and overseeing the growth of the organization as a whole.
Anthony served as the Chief Sales Officer and was part of the founding team of a technology startup that has been named one of the 24 companies shaping InsuranceTech globally and one of the top ten companies driving superb customer engagement in insurance. Prior to launching GSI, Anthony was a principle at the largest privately held insurance brokerage in the world (Hub International, formally Lawson-Hawks Insurance Associates, Inc.) in 2005, where he served as the Senior Vice President and Program Manager in their Mountain View office. He was responsible for managing their program division, overseeing client management staff, key in bridging marketing partnerships and was instrumental in overseeing various operational and structural policies. Anthony received this agencies most prestigious “Sharp Award” 3 years consecutively for his exceptional performance in Sales and Leadership.
Prior to joining Hub, Anthony has had the privilege of serving in leadership roles at Hobbs Group (HRH) a large regional brokerage and Willis, a large international firm. Anthony has worked with virtually every aspect of insurance and risk management within the apartment owner and property industry from handling some of the largest property management companies in the country, managing owner controlled insurance programs (OCIP’s) for large construction projects and to developing one of the largest exclusive property owners insurance programs in the state. As a result, Anthony has become an expert and specializes in insurance products for apartment owners, rental owners and property management companies. Anthony has been also been empowered to address the myriad complex exposures and issues of surgery centers, large physician groups, manufacturing, non-profit and technology industries.
Anthony has used his insatiable thirst to learn the nuances of client security through managing risk and his natural business acumen to provide clever and resourceful solutions to his many loyal partner clients. His enthusiasm and characteristic persistence have placed him in the enviable position of found and build Golden State Insurance Solutions, Inc. His tremendous knowledge of fluid and dynamic markets has created exceptional resources for his partner clients.
Anthony has earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Notre Dame de Namur University. He is also currently in the process of obtaining his Associate Risk Management Designation (ARM). Anthony is involved with a number of non-profits and serves on the board of directors for the Mid-Peninsula Boys and Girls Club. Married to wife Jasmine and the proud father of his two princess daughters Lydia and Leah, Anthony divides his free time between church functions, community service and various sporting activities and events.
